THIS IS MY STORY.
Hunter is 8 years old and has been having seizures since he was 4 months old. He is undiagnosed as to what is causing the seizures after tons of testing. Over the years the seizures have changed and nothing has helped him. We’ve done the Ketogenic diet, tons of meds, and the VNS. He also has a movement disorder. It is really hard to develop and focus on the world when you are in constant motion and cannot control your body.
Hunter is one of the strongest kids I have ever met. He’s endured so much in his life including thousands upon thousands of seizures and painful treatments and testing. He still manages to give us sweet smiles and giggles which makes our hearts happy. He adores his little brother and secretly loves the fact that he’s always crawling all over him.
When we heard about CBD we knew we had to give it a try. We were out of options. Our hope for CBD is to give Hunter relief from his seizures and movement disorder and give him a better quality of life. After just over a week we are seeing hardly any seizures and his body is much calmer. He is happier and more alert. Hopefully these are little miracles which will lead to even bigger and better things.
